BPO as an effective HRM Strategy

RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS:

H0: There is no significant relationship between HR Outsourcing and HR cost reduction of the Company with respect to the overall Corporate strategy.

H0: There is no significant relationship between the nature of HR activities that are outsources and its impact on reducing the corporate HR activities.

H0: There is no significant relationship between conducting an in-house benchmark analysis before HR Outsourcing and the extent of the HR Outsourcing objectives being achieved.

RESULT AND DISCUSSION:

HR activities that could be outsourced by an IT Company includes- Benefits, pension, payroll, recruiting, compensation and training. Through the major objectives behind HR outsourcing is cost effectiveness, there are several other reasons identified such as -factor cost advantage, utilisation improvement, economy of scale, superior competency and business risk mitigation, process integration. The HR outsourcing objectives includes the following:

  1. HR cost reduction

  2. Reduction of overall corporate HR activities

  3. Management time is saved

  4. It saves money

  5. It provides better services

  6. It helps in concentrating on core businesses

  7. It is very flexible in operations

  8. It eliminates administrative burden

  9. It provides promptnes and organisational transformation.

The following points were arrived at conclusion:

  1. There is significant relationship between HR Outsourcing and HR cost reduction of the Company with respect to the overall Corporate strategy.

  2. There is significant relationship between the nature of HR activities that are outsources and its impact on reducing the corporate HR activities.

  3. There is significant relationship between conducting an in-house benchmark analysis before HR Outsourcing and the extent of the HR Outsourcing objectives being achieved.

CONCLUSION:
