I’m an enthusiastic teacher committed to fostering a love for learning in my students.
My Teaching career began in the year 1998, after I completed Post-graduation in Commerce from Madras Christian College – Chennai, Tamil Nadu. My Professor Dr. V Balu, gave all encouragement to pursue M.Phil. in Commerce and at the same time, I was beyond thrilled when I took up my very first teaching position as a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration in SDNB Vaishnav College in the Evening shift. The eagerness and anticipation had excitement, bubbling within me. From the moment I decided to pursue a career in education, I dreamt of the first classroom, I was filled with an electrifying energy. The prospect of shaping young minds, inspiring curiosity, and being a guide on their educational journey was both humbling and exhilarating. After working for five years as a Lecturer, I happened to get a chance to work in one of the colleges in the State of Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia, now INTI University.
In the year 2004, I joined the Department of Management Studies in Colleges in Kerala. In the year 2006, I was awarded PhD from the University of Madras.
Having a passion for both Management and Psychology, I acquired MBA from IGNOU and M.Sc in Psychology from University of Madras. The flavor of organizational psychology is a rich blend of psychology, business, and sociology, all aimed at creating healthier and more productive workplaces. It involves applying scientific principles to improve the lives of employees and the functioning of organizations. Integrating Technology and Management has always drawn my attention as Technology integration in management refers to the incorporation of various technological tools, systems, and processes to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of management.
The Integration of research and teaching creates a dynamic and enriching learning environment, fostering a culture of curiosity and discovery among students. It also contributes to the advancement of knowledge within the academic community. Education is a collaborative journey, and I am excited about the relationships that will shape this adventure. I am always looking forward to building meaningful connections—with my students, their parents, and my fellow educators.
While I am aware that challenges will be part of the journey, I am ready to face them with resilience and a growth mindset. Every obstacle is an opportunity for learning and improvement, and I am excited about the continuous evolution that teaching promises. My teaching philosophy is centered around fostering curiosity, promoting critical thinking, etc. I believe in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
